Identification of opportunities in the Basque Bread and Milling subsector
Project focused on identifying inter-cluster collaboration opportunities for the recycling of by-products and waste from the Basque Bread and Milling subsector, as a result of which it was possible to:
Identify and quantify the main flows of waste and by-products.
Identify innovative technologies and business models based on the recycling of waste and by-products with the potential for replication in the Basque Bread and Milling sector.
Identify and prioritise inter-sectoral collaboration opportunities for innovation and the start-up of new businesses associated with the recycling of waste and by-products from the Bread and Milling food processing industry.
Define the legal and administrative framework (Basque Country) for developing new value chains and products derived from recycling waste and by-products from the specific Bread and Milling food processing industry.
